Photos of the Traditional Wedding of Chidinma and Tochukwu
Despite the white nature of weddings which is common all over the world including Nigeria, Nigerians have failed to forget their traditional engagement ceremony which is held sacred. More especially in the Igbo tradition, even without the white wedding, once you have done the Traditional, you are good to go. Wedding vendors have therefore blended their work towards ensuring that out legacies from the past are held sacred as far as traditional weddings are concerned. Traditional event hall decorations, wedding cakes e.t.c have become the order of the day.
A lot of Nigerians have even described Traditional Weddings as more interesting than the usual white wedding, which tends to be more serious and of course more foreign.
Chidinma and Tochukwu's traditional wedding has brought to the fore the Igbo culture, demonstrating the need for us to preserve our legacies from the past. The Traditional- Themed wedding was captured by Diko Photography
