The Wedding of Adedolapo and Adeniyi.
5th of August, 2017 was a happy day for the Akinbobolas and Baloguns. The weather was quite gloomy, seemed as if rain would fall at a point in time, but it soon cleared off. The whole ambience was welcoming. There was actually no dull moment throughout as the wedding featured the Yoruba Traditional Wedding rites. There was a display of cultural love between the two lovely couple, Adedolapo and Adeniyi as the event featured two coordinators who represented both families i.e the sitting MC for the bride's family and the standing MC for the groom's family, popularly known in the Yoruba Tradition as Alaga Ijoko and Alaga iduro respectively.
The event which took place at Akinbobola's residence, GRA quarters Sagamu, Ogun State kicked off with an opening prayer after which a letter of intent was presented by the Baloguns to the Akinbobolas and of course this gesture according to the tradition, was reciprocated with an acceptance letter by the Akinbobolas.
The whole event went well as planned, prayers being showered on the couple with everyone wishing them a happy married life in good health. Food and drinks were in surplus and the DJ slammed and slammed until everyone got tired.
